Adding lighting fixtures
- [Instructor] In this video, we'll continue with the commercial office space on the left hand side of our plan and add some light fixtures. So to do that, we are going to just simply use the Component tool, but the component that I want to place is not yet loaded. So let's go right to Insert, load Autodesk Family. And the last time I was here, I was placing appliances. I'm going to click the all results item here on Browse and then locate the lighting branch. And then under Architectural, I'll choose Internal. So these are a number of light fixtures that we can load in. I'll scroll down to the bottom and I'm going to locate this Troffer Light two by four parabolic and load that in. Now I'll go back to architecture in the Component tool or type CM. And we're ready to place this light fixture. Now this is a ceiling hosted light fixture. So it's similar to a door and a window, except that instead of requiring a wall host, it requires a ceiling host. You can see that down in the status…
