- [Instructor] Sometimes we're having problems getting out to the internet, and it could be multiple different reasons as to why that's happening. It could be a problem with your server, it could be a problem with your Windows workstation, such as Windows 11. I'm in a Windows 2025 server, and what I'm going to do is I'm going to go to the Start button, and from here I'm going to go to settings. Inside settings, it's going to tell me the IP address information. On the left hand side, I'll click on network and internet, and then I'll click on ethernet. And under ethernet, we can see the IP address is set to manual. That means it's a static IP address. I manually entered that IP address, and it's not going to change even if I restart my server. It also tells me the subnet mask as well as the gateway.
