Default and custom client settings

- [Instructor] Client settings shows the control level that Configuration Manager has over a device or over a user's computing environment. If you set up a policy to do something and it doesn't work, it could be that the default client settings don't allow it to work. Let's first take a look under Site Configuration. I'm going to click on Sites, and that's in the Administration site, as you can see in the lower left corner and underneath the Site Configuration and Site. Now the first thing I want to look at is the Client Installation Setting. So if you're having trouble installing the client installation for the agent, then go ahead and choose the Client Installation Settings and choose the Client Push Installation. And here are the default settings. What I'm going to do is I'm going to check the box for Enable automatic site-wide client push installation. So that way if it finds a client within the boundary groups, it will go ahead and push that installation of the agent out. The…
