- [Instructor] Now, in addition to all of the synthesis tools that we have in Massive under the hood and on the surface, nothing takes the place of audio effects. And we've got a couple of different points where we can add audio effects to kind of take everything to the next level. Sometimes an audio effect can really be what makes a sound a certain sound. I didn't want to put too much importance on that for what we're talking about here, because synthesis is the name of the game, but there are some really, really great modules in Massive X and some of which carry over from the original Massive that are sort of very well known and have their own unique sound. So we have two different effects bays as I would say. We've got ABC and then XYZ. A, B and C are insert effects. And if we look at the routing page, we can see that A, B and C are basically routed by default to have A before the filter and B and C after the filter,…
