The best way to write, prompt, and much more

- Markdown is a text format for creating documents that is easy to read, easy to write, and easy to convert into other formats. But today it's much more than that. Created all the way back in 2004 by John Gruber, you can find Markdown just about everywhere, including at the heart of tools like ChatGPT, Slack, and Reddit. I've been using the format for decades, and today, it's what I use to write all of my content for blog posts, video scripts, and AI prompts. So in this course, I'll show you how to get started with simple typographic elements, and then I'll move on to block elements, like headlines and block quotes. Then I'll show you how to work with more complex Markdown elements like lists and images. And finally, I'll talk about some of the extensions to the language, like GitHub-flavored Markdown that let you create fenced in code blocks as well as tables. So if you want to learn the best way to write documents, let's do this.
