- [Instructor] Just like you can use the inspect area to access additional functionality for patches, sets and concerts, you can also use it to control channel strips. The channel strip inspector, however, gives you the ability to control key aspects of how a channel strip responds to midi information. This allows you to truly maximize the potential of MainStage during the performance. The first tab in the channel strip inspector is a library, much like the patch library. The difference is, is that instead of loading a pre-made patch, you'll load a preset for a channel strip. The selections in the library will vary depending on the type of channel strip that's selected. You'll see we have the instrument channel strip inspector highlighted here, but if I move over to an aux, it's a different library. Let me show you how this works.
