(Narrator)- You may have noticed that in LabVIEW, the mouse changes shape, depending on what it's hovering over. For example, if I move my mouse over this button, it turns into a hand, known as the operating tool that can be used to change the value of a control. If I move my mouse over to one of the edges, it turns into an arrow I can use to drag the button around, and if I put it on one of the corners, it turns into a different arrow that I can click and drag to resize. Over on the block diagram, putting my mouse over the control terminal gives me the wiring tool, which I can use to connect block diagram nodes together. By default, LabVIEW will automatically select an appropriate tool based on the context of what you're doing. That said, it can sometimes be hard to get your mouse in just the right spot, especially when you're working on a cluttered V.I. with lots of objects close together.
