Editing issues
- [Instructor] There are two ways to edit issues. First, click the edit button on the left. Change any field and click the form submission button. The other way is to edit inline. You can update some fields straight from the issue screen. Hover over a field, and simply change its value. Issue edits are visible immediately. It's important to complete as many fields as possible and update fields as soon as information changes. Additional information often becomes available after an issue is created. Make sure to add it to Jira to support and clarify issue data. Accurate information helps others find issues and generate reports. When an issue is complete, its information should serve as a legal and historical record of what was done.
