Accessing key features

Let's talk about the main navigation elements, so you can access key features. We'll start at the top left of the page. Click the first icon to expand or collapse the left sidebar. The second icon is the application navigator. Click this icon to visit other Atlassian applications. The next item is a logo image. If you ever get lost, click the logo to return to your Jira homepage. The next item is the search bar. Type any key to open a specific item. Type any word or phrase to search through multiple items. You can also type a space's long name. Next is the Create button. Click this button to create a new work item. The space and work type created last are automatically selected. The first icon on the right side of the top navigation is for notifications. Use this feature to see notices and activity. Next is the Help icon. Click it and look for the Keyboard Shortcuts option.
