Reporting methods
Jira's reporting capabilities are super powerful. There are many ways to view, present, and share issue data and progress. But first, here are some common reporting terms. A filter is a saved search result. Create a filter to reuse the search query again later. A filter subscription is a periodic notification of search results. Jira can send email about certain issues at a chosen frequency. A queue is a unified view of work or shared view of issues. They're used to segment and categorize requests in Jira Service Management. A board is a status-based view of issues. A dashboard is a statistics-based view of issues. And finally, a gadget is used to display dynamic content on a Jira dashboard. There are many different types of gadgets like charts, graphs, and lists. Here are the ways to view Jira data and when to use each.
