Editing issues
In Cloud, the way to edit is inline. You can update fields straight from the issue screen. Issue edits are visible immediately. It's important to complete as many fields as possible and update fields as soon as information changes. Additional information often becomes available after an issue was created, so make sure to add it to Jira to support and clarify issue data. Accurate information helps others find issues and generate reports. When an issue is complete, its information should serve as a legal and historical record of exactly what was done.
