- [Instructor] In order for our Linkage to move around correctly there need to be a couple of fixed points and space so the thing can't just wiggle around like a wet noodle. So, in order to place those points, which we'll use cylinders for. I'm first going to hide my sketches, my orphan sketches, so that things aren't so confusing. And zoom in a bit here on the origin. Then I'll right click at the top of the browser and make a new component. Which I'll label, Pins. The name doesn't matter. It's just for keeping track. Within Pins we will create a cylinder. And sometimes you'll get this warning about moving components and capturing the position. I'm not sure what it's referring to because I haven't moved anything yet. I generally just tell it, yes. Go ahead and capture position. That'll come up a number of more times when we're on our way to making a motion study. I'll select the X and Y plane. And then build this…
