- For our first model in fusion, we'll be building one of Theo Jansen's strand beasts. And if you don't know about this guy, he is really worth checking out. He is a Dutch artist and if we take a look here in his Wikipedia page, you can see that he makes these interesting mobile sculptures. Sometimes they're wind powered and so forth but they have these legs that walk in the sort of biological fashion. They look like spiders or crabs or something like that. So we're going to recreate one of these leg assemblies using the measurements that allow one of these legs to operate. And I've provided this image. So this is proportion step PNG. I downloaded this from Wikipedia sometime ago and it describes the relationship of these different rods and triangles that make one of these contraptions that sort of walks along the beach like a strand beast.
