Store files securely with Dropbox Vault
- [Instructor] Dropbox Vault is a special folder protected with a six digit pin, an extra layer of security for sensitive files like financial documents or anything that you think needs an extra layer of protection. This vault has some cool features. Let's take a look. To create a Dropbox Vault, go to dropbox.com. Then go to settings and find Vault down here under features and click Setup. Dropbox is offering to suggest files that it thinks should go in Vault. I'm going to skip this. And then ask me for a six digit pin. Now I'm going to add some files to the Vault just so I can demonstrate this. Now, if I return to my computer's file system, we can see that a folder called Vault has been added in my Dropbox folder. If I double click on the Vault folder, it asks me for my six digit pin. Once I enter the pin, the Vault is unlocked, the files in it are downloaded to my computer, and now I can work on them like any other…
