Scan documents with the mobile app
- [Instructor] The Dropbox apps for both iOS and Android provide a super quick and accurate way to scan documents directly to your Dropbox storage. I use this all the time to scan receipts and records into Dropbox. Start by running the Dropbox app on your device, tap the Create icon, and then Scan Document. If the document is easy to distinguish from the background, and you're holding your device reasonably straight, Dropbox will automatically find the edges of the page and take a photo. Otherwise, you can just tap the round button at the bottom of the screen to take the photo. Dropbox will attempt to straighten the page and automatically decide if it should be black and white or color. If you want to adjust the image, tap the Adjustment button. If you want to scan additional pages in the same file, tap the plus button. When you're done, tap Next. Enter a file name if you wish, and then choose a location in your Dropbox…
