Install the Dropbox app on your computer
- [Instructor] Once you've created a Dropbox account, you'll want to install the Dropbox app on each Mac or Windows desktop or laptop that you'll use with that account. The primary purpose of this app is to keep your files synchronized between your computers and dropbox.com. If you're only going to use Dropbox on mobile devices, you can skip this movie. When you sign up for your Dropbox account, the installer for the Dropbox app should automatically download. If not, or if you've deleted the installer or lost track of it, you can download it again. To do so, visit dropbox.com/go and the app should automatically download. Once the installer is downloaded, you'll need to visit your browsers default download location, typically your desktop or your downloads folder. Then double click the Dropbox installer.
