Solution: Best customer year
(upbeat music) - [Instructor] I'll start by adding a pivot table. I'll go to my insert tab, go to my pivot table, click okay. I do want to look at my customer and I want to look at them year over year. So I'll drag invoice date to columns. And again, by default, it gives me additional date. So I'll go ahead and pull the invoice date out in quarters. 'Cause I'm looking at a year over year performance and we're going to use that extended price. I'll go ahead and drag that in. Okay, great. So now I can see each customer and how they did each year based on that extended price. And what I want to do now is show this as a percentage so I can see how they rank. So I'm going to go ahead and show values as a percentage of the row total. And again, these total up to be a hundred percent. So this lets me see how this customer did each year. Okay, great. Now I'm going to add my sparklines. So I'll go to my insert. Going to go to my sparklines and I'll add my line, my data ranges here. And I want to place here. I'll go ahead and click okay. When I can see for this customer, they're trending down. Now I'll go ahead and drag these sparklines all the way down. Okay, great. Let me scroll back up to the top here. Okay, and then I'll highlight my sparkline there and I'll go ahead and mark my high point. Perfect, and let's make that high point green. Perfect, now in my sparkline, I can see the trend either up or down and then I can see that sparkline has that high point highlighted maybe make it just a little bit bigger. I go to the weight there. That might be a little bit too big. Let's bring it down just a little bit. Perfect. Okay, great. And if I want to add markers for every point, I can do that. Maybe a little discharging. I think I'll just have that high point. Okay, great. So I can see each customer. I can see their performance against their self year over year. And I also have a sparkline to mark out their high points. I call this challenge done.
