Securing email with PGP
PGP provides both privacy and authentication for emails and documents. In this segment, we'll explain the way PGP secures email and documents along with how to assign trust to a public key using the web of trust. Pretty Good Privacy is an asymmetric encryption algorithm that can be used for key exchange, encryption, and digital signatures. Originally, PGP was freely available. However, it is now a commercial product. An alternative that offers similar functionality is GNU Privacy Guard. GNU Privacy Guard is free and is an implementation of the OpenPGP standard, and you can read more about it here on this page. Now if you have a Windows operating system, you might want to check out GPG for Windows. And I'm here and I'm going to download and install GPG for Windows.
