What is the asset browser?
- [Narrator] Let's talk about a very powerful feature in Cinema 4D, the asset browser. You can find it by coming over to window, under assets, at the top there it says asset browser and the keyboard shortcut is shift F8. If we click that, you can see that it opens up, you can toggle it also by clicking this icon here. We won't get into all the menu items just yet, but below that are these quick access categories that make up the contents of the asset browser, such as models and materials. And below the quick access, we've got the search field, which is what you'll be using to find assets in the asset browser. Below that is this tree navigation. So this is the category area, a tree view that shows the categories that we have and you can filter that further. If we go into models, for example, find food, you can click onto a category and then on the right in the asset area or this asset list, this will display the corresponding assets that are associated with this category.
