Let's take a quick look at facial expression and how to pose faces. Now the face is really a window into your character. Whatever's going through your character's head will show up very easily on the face. So let's take a look at how to create facial expressions and make them interesting. So here I have a basic character. And let's just go with a very simple emotion. Let's go ahead and just make the character smile. Now if we wanted to, we could just leave it at that, but this is not really that great of an expression; I mean, it really is just the character smiling. It's, there's not anything else involved. One of the things we can do is we can create a, maybe a little bit of asymmetry into the pose, just to give it some visual interest. So, for example, we could take this slider here and maybe make the smile a little bit more on the right side.
