- [Instructor] To find the attendance tool, click on the attendance link from within Learner Management on the course administration area. Here you'll see two options, attendance registers and attendance schemes. The register designs your attendance log, how many days in the class, for example. Attendance schemes handles whether you're logging simple attendance or tracking things like tardies, excused absences, or early departures. Let's start by looking at attendance schemes. Now some institutions will have prebuilt schemes. If you're building one from scratch, select new scheme. Here, you can name the attendance scheme and set up your own criteria and percentage awarded for that criteria. I'll add some of that information now. Hit save and the scheme will be associated with the class. Now that that's done, we can set up a proper attendance register.
