Scaling viewports in your AutoCAD drawings
- [Instructor] We're staying in our communication.dwg file. And you'll notice I'm in the ISO A1 Landscape Layout tab, the one where the view ports are and where we've placed our simple title block and our text. Now, in the previous video we did place a separate viewport, this one here on the right. Now, at the moment, it hasn't got a scale or anything, it's not actually got anything in place that we really want to look at. So what we're going to do is we're going to double click inside the viewport boundary, and that will activate the viewport. What we need to do is scale that viewport so that we're looking at something specific in the viewport so that we can set the viewport scale around it. Now, you'll remember we placed a table in the conference room with some annotations, some text, and some dimensions. You can see it there. So we're going to zoom in on that. So using zoom and pan inside the viewport, can you see, it's like looking through a hole in the Layout tab into the model…
