Importing tables into Airtable
- So now we've got three empty tables in our base, and this is a great foundation for us to start working with. But, what if we already have data that we've created in another app like Microsoft Excel or Google sheets. Then instead of creating all of these empty tables from scratch, it would really save us a lot of time to create new tables that are based on the data that we already have. Airtable makes this process very easy, all you have to do is export your data out of your other apps as CSV files, and then you can import those CSV files into Airtable. If you look in our exercise files for this chapter, you'll see that I've already export two CSV files out of Microsoft Excel. The first file is called contacts.CSV and the other file is speakers.CSV.
