- [Instructor] Let's learn how easy it is to create your new base and its tables. By the way, Airtable uses the word base as an abbreviation for database. So I'm going to use the term base from now on as well. After you sign up for your account at airtable.com you'll be taken to your own personalized home screen that looks something like this. Don't worry if your screen doesn't look identical to mine, Airtable creates a custom screen just for you based on the questions that you answered when you signed up for your account. On our home screen we see that Airtable has created a workspace for us. And my workspace says pro-plan next to it. Throughout this course, I will be using some Airtable features that are only available if you've upgraded your workspace to a pro-plan.
