The Parametric Equalizer effect
- [Narrator] The parametric equalizer effect is so powerful and useful. It's actually built into every track header in a multi-track session. Here I've got a session open, and if I click on the EQ button at the top of the tracks and just resize a bit so you can see it, I can actually click this little pencil and make adjustments. Let's just crank up the mid-tones there, and I get a preview for the adjustment that's been made now to the whole track. I'm going to apply this effect a slightly longer way around though. I'm going to build this into my effect rack. So I'll choose track 2 this time, and I'm going to go into the first option on the rack and I'll choose parametric equalizer. And I just want to take a moment to explore the controls here so you can use this powerful tool to tweak and tune your audio. Most important thing to see is this graph in the middle. It's pretty small writing, but we've got frequency along the bottom measured in hertz, so lower frequencies on the left and…
