Saving and exporting an audio file
- [Instructor] When you have finished working on your audio, probably the next thing you're going to want to do is share it with the world. And let's take a quick look at the options that are relevant when exporting a waveform or Wave file. Here I've got a piece of audio open. It's pretty loud as you can see on the waveform display there, and I'm going to go to File, Export, and File. I'm going to need to give this a name. I'm happy with the name that's come up there. That's fine. I'm going to need to specify a location. You've got recent locations listed, and there's browse button, and importantly, I need to choose a format. Now to save space for the downloads associated with this course, all of the audio is encoded as an MP3. MP3 files are pretty small, they sound okay, but there's actually quite a lot of audio information missing.
