- [Instructor] It can feel like the spectral frequency display gives you superhuman powers as an audio mix or an audio engineer. And I want to give you just one example of this. It's something that would be so difficult without access to that display. So I've got a piece of audio here. This is taken from a video clip, and there's a person being interviewed and there's a telephone ringing in the background. Just have a listen. - [Speaker 1] Aqua is an energy drink company committed to health and fitness. - [Instructor] Now, ordinarily you might be able to do something with removing that unwanted telephone ringing in the background by maybe using a notch filter, something that just chops out pieces of the range of frequencies in the audio or even parametric equalizer. Something that allows you to specify a range of adjustments to audio level based on frequency. But we've got a much easier way, a much faster way to do this using the spectral frequency display.
