- [Instructor] 3D sculpting is a type of mesh modeling, but the on-screen experience feels like sculpting in clay. You'll find sculpting workflows in software like ZBrush, Mudbox, Maya, Meshmixer, Blender, 3DCoat, Cinema 4D, and more. Specialized input tools make sculpting easier. While you can sculpt with a standard mouse, you may have a more natural experience sculpting with a drawing tablet or a 3D mouse. Let's take a look at what a sculpting workflow looks like. This is ZBrushCoreMini, which is the free version of the more powerful ZBrush. For some project and with some software, you'll begin by building a base mesh to work with.
