She was all about leading by example, because modeling the behavior you want to see in your employees brings out the best in everyone. It is one hallmark of an emotionally intelligent leader. It's how you build credibility, respect, and rapport with your team. Here are four emotional intelligence strategies that will help you lead yourself, others, and your organization. Provide feedback. Set up regularly scheduled one-on-one conversations. I recommend once per week for 30 minutes. This is where you're going to receive and provide ongoing feedback. Make the feedback clear.
