One question people ask about leaders like this is, were they born great, or did they achieve greatness? If there's such a thing as a natural born leader, what does that mean for you and me? Let's look at the oldest systematic approach to studying leadership, the traits approach. This provides one possible answer to the question about the belief in the existence of natural born leaders.
