Incorporating man-made objects into a landscape shot
- We've left the high elevation of the butte, and now we're in the back roads of the Palouse. It's an amazing array of back roads that take you through farm lands filled with Hand Of Man subjects, trees, and of course the picturesque hills. We're gonna start today with Hand Of Man. We have an abandoned house off in the distance. It's a beautiful house, it's got farmland all around it, and we're gonna do our best to capture it. We've got a couple difficult conditions we're dealing with. We don't have any clouds in the sky, and ideally I'd like to incorporate some puffy clouds and blue sky. We also have a very harsh sun. So what we've done is, is we've composed the house so that there's hills behind it, therefore eliminating the sky. And we found some interesting patterns in the crops with a little bit of green popping up. Now, as we've seen, it's mostly brown so far, but we've got some green and that's gonna give us some nice contrast. So I'm gonna go very tight, I'm 300 MIL. Focus…
