Welcome to Lesson 4, Kubernetes Dashboard Security. We're going to take a look at the often overlooked Kubernetes security components that are a part of the graphical user interface you can use to be able to manage your environment. This lesson will guide you through the Kubernetes Dashboard architecture, providing a clear understanding of all the components and how they interact. You'll also learn the step-by-step process of dashboard installation, ensuring you can set up an admin-friendly interface for your cluster management needs. But more importantly, we're going to focus on how to implement role-based access control, or RBAC, for the dashboard to be able to ensure secure interactions through the GUI and ultimately leveraging RBAC to be able to define who can access which resources within your cluster, providing a very granular level of security.
