- [Instructor] Dmitry, the deep magic information gathering tool can be used to check a top level domain in order to identify sub-domains and hosts and scan a target looking for open ports. Let's start this from the application menu and the Information Gathering menu, dmitry. Dmitry is a command line tool, and when we select it, a terminal window is opened, and we're presented with the help information for dmitry. Let's see how to use a couple of dmitry's capabilities. Firstly, we'll use dmitry to identify the public internet registration information of the yahoo.com website, dmitry yahoo.com. There's a lot of information for us to check. The first thing that dmitry provides is the target IP address. We can see that the IP address for yahoo.com, or at least the IP address we are directed to, is 74.6.231.21.
