When you first create a project in Jira, unless it's a team-managed project in Jira Cloud, your workflow will begin on a simplified workflow. These workflows support very limited changes, but those changes can be performed by a project administrator, not requiring an overall Jira administrator. workflows are isolated, used only by the project they were created for. Let's take a look at making a change to a simplified workflow, and we'll also see how the somewhat similar team-managed workflows in Jira Cloud can be modified by a project administrator. First, let's take a look at our company-managed Scrum project in Jira Cloud, the CoffeeShop app, and we will go to its boards configuration. Earlier in the course when we covered board configuration, we showed how to add a status to this board, but then discarded the new status.
