Most of the features we've covered during this course are present in both Jira Datacenter and Jira Cloud. But as the years pass, Atlassian has introduced an increasing number of new capabilities to Jira Cloud that aren't present in the Datacenter product. Teams and Goals are both features enabled by having an Atlassian Cloud account and organization. is the newest and still essentially in beta or early access at this time. Neither of these seem likely to appear in JIRA Data Center going forward, as these are both cross-product features for Atlassian's stack of tools in the cloud. You can make use of them in JIRA Cloud, Confluence Cloud, JIRA Product Discovery, and others. Both of these features are really more Atlassian Cloud features than they are Jira Cloud features. The Teams feature has been present for longer and comes with a number of benefits.
