Welcome to Lesson 6, Leveraging JIRA Reports. We just learned how to find issues with the JIRA Issue Filter feature, and that creates a result list of issues that we can easily call a report. We can even export filter results to Excel. But in JIRA, the term reports is used for a feature that we might better name charts reports. Visual graphical renderings of data related to a set of JIRA issues. A pie chart of issues by their status, for example. In this lesson, we'll start by looking at specialized reports or charts, if you prefer, that are designed to support Agile software development methodologies. Next, we'll look at a sampling of other types of reports that can be used for a variety of different project types.
