Integrating Jira with Confluence

In many shops that use Jira, Confluence, Atlassian's knowledge sharing tool, is also present. These two tools integrate with one another to add some extra features in both, and since these are both Atlassian products, performing the integration is trivial. In fact, in Jira Cloud, if you have a Confluence instance in the same Atlassian site as a Jira instance, that integration is automatic. So we won't focus on performing this integration, but rather the primary features you get when you have both of these products. In Jira Cloud, we can use the Atlassian App Switcher icon to toggle back and forth between Confluence and Jira. If you don't have Confluence installed on your site yet, you can do so from here as an overall Atlassian site administrator. There are several places we can leverage Confluence from within Jira.
