Let's create a custom workflow from scratch for our Coffeeshop app scrum project. We do need to be an overall Jira administrator to create such workflows, but the advantage is they can be shared across multiple projects on the Jira instance. First, let's undo the simplified workflow changes to the Coffeeshop app that we made just a moment ago. We'll go into its board settings, and then columns. And let's remove this under test column, and the under test status. Although, remember, we're just removing that status from this project and not deleting that status from all of Jira. Don't worry. We're still going to support the under test status in our project, but we'll be doing it with a hand-built custom workflow rather than a simplified one with a few extra features added. To create a custom workflow, we go to the overall Jira administrative menu and then select Work Items. There is a Workflow section here in the sidebar.
