Two features in Jira Cloud can also help with planning, the Calendar and Timeline views. Jira Data Center doesn't have these features, although the Timeline view is really just a stripped down, lightweight, free version of the Roadmaps feature that we'll look at later in this course. Jira Data Center does include the full Roadmaps feature. In Jira Cloud, let's drill down to our Scrum project again. The Calendar and Timeline features are both available in the Project menu. The Calendar is a simple feature. It just shows us where Sprints, Task Completions, and Releases are scheduled. These are selectable items. So you can use this as a navigational tool. That includes navigating to the details for a particular release from the Calendar. To find our release, we need to toggle the calendar settings and show weekends, because very rudely I scheduled this team to make a release on a weekend in July. And the versions are also selectable.
