Adding and configuring dashboard widgets
There are many widgets, or gadgets, available for dashboards in both Jira Cloud and Datacenter, customizable to display the data you want. Let's use some of them on our new dashboard. We'll do this work in Jira Cloud, and we'll navigate back to the dashboard we created a moment ago. There is nothing on this dashboard yet, but we just need to edit it to start placing gadgets. So in terms of layout, we're in two-column mode still, and we'll stick with that. We can add gadgets easily, and in Jira Cloud they appear in a sidebar. There are quite a few of these, and more can be added through third-party Jira extensions from the Atlassian Marketplace. Some of these gadgets are easy to understand what they do just from their names, but others you may have to experiment with to get a feel for how they can be applied.
