Troubleshooting connectivity issues
All right, so now we're going to talk about troubleshooting connectivity issues. Now, this is a higher level task from computers and peripherals because you're now trying to figure out how connectivity between your computer or device and the network and or the internet is functioning. So that's a little bit different, and here's how we do that. So we talk about network connectivity issues and how do we solve for them. The first thing you want to do is validate, it's very similar process, you'll notice, validate the network cables to make sure that they're plugged in and seated properly. At the same time, you also want to make sure that they're not damaged in any way. Sometimes network cables can break. Sometimes the Ethernet end or the RJ45 connector that's on the end of the Ethernet cable will pull out a little bit. And sometimes they're not terminated properly where the eight strands of cable to go into the RJ45 connector, don't go all the way into the end. So you'll run into a…
