- [Instructor] Welcome to this lesson on outsourcing and cloud contracts. In this lesson, we have two learning objectives. The first is business requirements, and then we'll cover some component management. Starting with business requirements. Organizations should understand and define specific business requirements prior to engaging with a cloud service provider. It's fundamental for businesses to delineate their needs accurately to ensure that the selected CSP can meet those needs effectively. There's some key terminology that we'll go over. The first is a Master Service Agreement or MSA. And this serves as the primary contractual agreement under which specific statements of work and Service Level Agreements further detail the expectations. The Statement of Work specifically details requirements for specific projects. And the Service Level Agreements specifies service levels and recourse for non-compliance.
