In this lesson, we'll first talk about an overview of BC and DR, or business continuity and disaster recovery, and then we'll talk about a handful of common scenarios and cloud integration. So as we get started here, I wanted to establish a really strong definition of what the difference is between a BCP and a DRP, which is business continuity plan and disaster recovery plan. Now, in both of these scenarios, a disaster has occurred. The difference between them is that a business continuity is the first step in maintaining essential business functions during and immediately after a disaster, whereas a disaster recovery plan is restoring all services and operations to normal state after a disaster.
