- [Instructor] Now we're doing a great job of getting through these frameworks and I know this can be a little bit dry, but this is some baseline information that you really want to have taking the CISM exam. So let's go ahead and move into the CMMI, which is the Capability Maturity Model Integration. And certainly this is important. This was originally designed for the software development field, and it was created by the US Department of Defense. The Software Engineering Institute had some input here. But now ISCA owns this process and set of processes. So you know that if ISCA is in charge of a framework, that it's certainly something that would be testable on the exam.
