Challenge: Determine your network topology
(upbeat music) - [Instructor] Now, let's take a look at our next challenge. In this challenge, you will determine a topology in a scenario described below. If you would like to randomly deploy five smart sensors as IoT and devices across a city where the sensors are capable of monitoring air quality and capable of interacting with each other or with the gateway across the city with a wide area networking technology. These sensors need to interact with a remote gateway, and the same time, we need to make sure if our wireless link between a sensor and the gateway is down, there's always a second path to insure the air quality messages gets sent to the gateway from the sensor. With these two requirements, let's determine the best topology of such an IoT network consisting of these sensors and the gateway. And I'm assuming this would take about 10 minutes to do.
