- [Instructor] In this session, we're going to learn how we can use Stata's help options effectively. Stata has some excellent help features to guide you, and we're going to explore the Help menu, Stata's help command, the user guide, and some of Stata's online resources. The command that we're going to introduce is called help, and its aim is to help you with whatever you type after it. It is often the first command that one is taught in Stata. So let's move over to Stata and take a look. On the right-hand side of the menus is the Help menu. If we click on it, we can see various options. The first link will send us to the manual. The other links will bring up entries from Stata's help viewer, and these will give you some advice on how to start with Stata or some basic content on certain commands and processes.
