Ordinary least squares regression: Challenge - Stata Tutorial

Ordinary least squares regression: Challenge
(upbeat music) - [Instructor] Let's look at some ordinary least squares regression challenges. This will help reinforce the knowledge you've already gained from the previous videos. The first challenge is, using the NLSW88 data, estimate the determinant of hourly wages. Use the variables education, age, race and marriage status. The second challenge is to diagnose your model. Is there any presence of heteroscedasticity? What does the residual versus fitted plot tell you about your model fit? And the final challenge is to find a way to improve the goodness of fit without adding any new variables. You are allowed to transform any variables already used. The challenge should take you around five minutes to complete.
