- [Instructor] Imagine how much attention your house would get if you always left your front door open. People may see that as an opportunity to get in at any time. Access to resources can be the same. If you have always-on access, it allows more opportunity for attackers to take advantage. Fortunately, there are ways to minimize this risk. Conditional access is one way and just-in-time access is another. Let's talk about each one individually. Conditional access is a set of rules and conditions that must be met in order to gain access to various resources and services. To gain access, the user must ensure all conditions are compliant. For your reference, conditional access is most common with Microsoft Active Directory and Azure, as well as their Intune product for mobile devices. Conditional access can block or allow access.
