Understanding lists
- [Instructor] In this video, we're going to take a short break from the action and talk about a very important concept in Dynamo, and that is the notion of lists. Nearly everything that we do in Dynamo is going to interact with a list of some kind. So when we gather elements from the Revit model, those will be organized in a list. When we create geometry within Dynamo, those will be organized on a list. We'll sometimes take those lists, and we'll merge them together, or we'll slice them up in various ways, or we'll reorganize them and combine them. So if you understand not only that we have these lists, but how they're structured, and how we can combine and manipulate them, then that goes a long way toward your understanding what the capabilities of Dynamo are.
