- [Instructor] Similar to the group's functionality found in Microsoft 365 apps like Outlook, here, comes Teams, an individual application that stands on its own. So if your team wants to collaborate in a persistent chat environment or use embedded apps, you might consider setting up a team. It provides more communication tools and is designed to help members of a team work together in a separate environment where they can chat with one another, work on projects together, share files with one another, book meetings, and a whole lot more. So let's take a quick look now, if you are using Outlook and your online using your browser, you might see the app launcher up here in the top left corner. Clicking this will show access to other apps, including teams, a standalone app. If you're at your home screen, logged into Microsoft 365, you might see it down the left hand side here and it can be installed locally as a standalone app on your computer.
